FrontRange Solutions has rewarded Prior Analytics with two significant awards at its UK Partner Awards Ceremony held on 10th June. Prior won the FrontRange UK Technical Innovation Partner of the Year and the FrontRange UK Service Management Partner of the Year.
The awards were presented by FrontRange Solutions' Vice President of EMEA, Ian McEwan, at the event held at the exclusive Mill Ride Golf & Country Club, Ascot, UK.
The UK Technical Innovation Partner of the Year was awarded on the basis of Prior demonstrating its combined approach to both technical and business problem solving. Prior's proven methods offer a clear way for customers to utilise the FrontRange product suite to deliver results fast.
According to Richard Young, CEO, Prior Analytics, UK, "Prior has always adopted a balanced approach to implementations, encompassing business and infrastructure elements. Essentially we employ a solution selling approach which ensures that the real areas of 'pain' are identified and dealt with accordingly. By ascertaining the client's issue areas and relating them to resolutions with processes and technology we are able to gain trust and establish early return on investment.'
The criteria for judging the FrontRange UK Service Management Partner of the Year was based on revenue achievement and growth, the successful acquisition of new customers, the largest deals and their demonstration of long term commitment to FrontRange.
Prior has provided FrontRange Solutions' award winning GoldMine, HEAT and ITSM Solutions for the last twelve years. In today's business environment, selling an Enterprise Solution requires extensive knowledge and skills encompassing technical and business analysis, sales negotiation and people skills. A unique selling point for Prior is the fact that the same team of technical consultants is used to implement the solutions as sell them.
In terms of innovation, Prior does not simply create a solution based upon what the customer says they want. Often they don't actually know – hence they rely on a consultative solution-based approach to help them diagnose their problems. As Henry Ford once said, "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses."
"Prior Analytics is a long-standing FrontRange partner that has experience across our Service Management and CRM solutions. They are a great example of a partner that understands how the FrontRange portfolio enables customers to choose one vendor for multiple IT and business requirements; and it is that attitude that has helped them become our top Service Management partner." Commented Ian McEwan, Vice President EMEA at FrontRange Solutions

How exciting! - Last night at a ceremony at the splendid Cliveden House, Prior's Adam Wood scooped the Highly Commended Award in the Remote Worker Category in association with BT. Prior Analytics was one of only eight corporate finalists in the Remote Employer category which was an amazing achievement given the number of entries and the calibre of businesses and individuals nominated.
Everyone at the awards had a compelling story to tell so we were delighted be shortlisted for this innovative award which spotlights the important message that remote working can be both economically, socially and environmentally sustaining. With the right people, process and technology, the Prior ethos of flexible working brings significant benefits to both employer and employees.
Adam is naturally delighted to have won this award.
"The fact that I can see my boys growing up on a day to day basis alone is reward enough so this is the icing on the cake! I am extremely grateful to my employer; Prior Analytics for having the vision to allow me to work remotely."
Remote Employment and BT Business have just announced the short listed winners in the national hunt to find remote working employers who could demonstrate how remote working and home working has made a beneficial impact on their business and home life for The Remote Worker Awards.
We are delighted to announce that Prior Analytics had been shortlisted for the prestigious Remote Employer Award 2009. One of our senior Consultants, Adam Wood, is one of only five shortlisted finalists for the Remote Worker Award.
The standard of entry appears to have been particularly high so we are delighted to have achieved two nominations which spotlight the message that remote working can be both economically, socially and environmentally sustaining and bring significant benefits to both employer and employees.
Sage Group have made some significant changes to their pricing and license structure. The new price structure means:
You can now buy single licenses rather than having to buy bundles - This means you wont have to "over" purchase on licenses for that extra person.
Concurrent licensing is now available - Sage is as standard NAMED licenses. Concurrent means that you can list as many as you like but only X number of people can login at once.
Reintroduction of Standard Edition - Reintroducing the standard licenses at a cheaper price for those that dont need the full functionality.
Sage Group Plc have updated their Sage CRM products licensing to make it much more competitive. Whilst other manufacturers are upping costs, Sage have decided to do the opposite and aggressively market on a lower price point.
As from 1st July 2009, Sage made some adjustments to the pricing and licensing structure of Sage CRM which are surprisingly different. The new price structure means:
You no longer have to buy in batches of 5, you can now buy single users. Good move on this one, the 5 bundle never worked and annoyed customers.
Concurrent licensing has now become a list item on the price list.
Reintroduction of Sage CRM Standard edition. This allows for a cheaper version of Sage CRM. Essentially stripping out Campaigns and Cases from the core product.
